LEARN TO SCUBA DIVE

Combine Your Open Water Diver Course with our Similan Islands Diving Liveaboard Cruise

Each year thousands of water lovers decide to take their first strides into the underwater world by completing their Open Water Diver Course.  Scuba Diving is an amazing sport and experiences can be shared as a solo traveler or larger groups.  In fact, Students can gain their Junior Open Water Diver Certification from as early 10 years old, and with no upper age limit (as long as you are suitable healthy) Scuba Diving makes a fantastic sport for all the family to enjoy, and shows you are never too young or too old to learn something new.

For the majority, an Open water Diver Courses is made up of a 3 or 4 Day Course which comprises two days of classroom and pool training, followed 2 days to complete the 4 required Open Water Dives.  With so many excellent training facilities and locations around the world the choice is endless, and for the most part will be a wonderful adventure that will challenge and reward in equal measures.

The Downside

The only downside for many new Open Water Divers is that the course is relatively short and once certified they may not get the opportunity to dive again for some time (usually not until their next holiday).  This often leads to many of the important skills and procedures learnt during the course being forgotten.  The feeling as if they are having to ‘start from the beginning’ again can be quite off putting for newly certified divers and may lead to additional ‘Refresher Training’ if they do not feel confident enough in their abilities.

So, is there a better option when learning to Scuba Dive?
